Keep FlagPlays on your home screen.
Open your plays and animations with a tap, without hunting for a browser tab. Install FlagPlays from your browser or use your device’s Add to Home Screen option. There’s no app-store purchase or subscription.
You can keep using the website without installing. Installation does not require an account and does not automatically move browser-saved plays between browsers or devices. After adding the app, check that the plays you need are there.
Install on your device
iPhone and iPad
- Open flagplays.org in Safari, or another browser that offers Add to Home Screen.
- Open the browser’s Share menu and choose Add to Home Screen. You may need to scroll through the actions.
- If shown, turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add.
- Open FlagPlays from its new home-screen icon.
If the option is missing, open the page in Safari instead of inside a messaging or social app. Menu names and available options depend on your browser and iOS version.

- Open FlagPlays in your browser.
- Use Install FlagPlays above if it is available, or open the browser menu and look for Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Follow the browser’s confirmation, then open the new icon.
If no installation option appears, try an updated Chrome or Edge browser. A home-screen shortcut may be offered instead of a standalone app.
On a computer
In Chrome or Edge, use the install button above when available, or look for the app installation option in the address bar or browser menu. On supported versions of Safari on Mac, use File → Add to Dock. Confirm the name, then open FlagPlays from your apps or Dock.
If your browser does not offer installation, you can bookmark FlagPlays and use all the same website features.
Before you leave for the field
Installing gives you quick access; it does not download every playbook for offline use. Some previously visited pages may be cached, but account playbooks, sharing and new PDF exports need a connection.
- While connected, open the app and confirm your playbook is available.
- Export its PDF and save it on your device, or print it.
- Open that downloaded file before practice so you know where to find it without a signal.
Keep your work available
Without an account, plays and playbooks stay in the browser where you created them. Free sign-in lets you save new work across devices and import existing plays and playbooks into your account. Installation itself is not a backup. Keep a downloaded PDF of the plays you need for game day.
