How to draw a flag football play

  1. Start with a formation. Copy a library play above, or choose your side and player count for a new drawing.
  2. Choose the field position. Use an open field or start 5 or 10 yards from the goal line. The shaded end zone helps you plan short routes and checkdowns in tighter space.
  3. Give each player a job. Move players and draw routes. Set the ball target, then preview the play to check the timing and spacing.
  4. Place the handoff for a run. Draw the runner’s path or choose a sweep preset, then set the exchange point on the route. Preview the approach without the ball, pause at the handoff, and follow the run after possession changes.
  5. Save your play and take it to practice. Name your play and add it to a playbook. Add FlagPlays to your home screen for quick access to your plays and animations, or export a PDF to print or keep on your device.

Drawing and printing are free without an account. Your plays stay in this browser unless you sign in and save them to your account.
